If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.

THE SECRETS OF ANCIENT CHINA

The history of China continued for 5,000 years. China is the home of martial arts. It is mixed with ancient and modern traditions and living. China is the longest civilization in the world. China was ruled by emperors for 5,000 years.
It was opened to the whole world by Marco Polo.
China has a lot of great wonders that would shock the world for it’s amazement and unbelievable history.

One of those is the Great Wall of China. Great Wall of China is one of the greatest attraction in the whole world. It was also the 1st information highway express. This wall is an unordinary wall that would not just crack and be demolished easily. This wall is indestructible. Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus stretching approximately 6,700 kilometers (4,163 miles ) from east to west of China.
This wall is a cultural icon. Great Wall of China is now in ruins or even entirely disappeared. But still it is one of the most appealing attraction all around the world owing to it’s architectural grandeur and historical significance.

Next is the Shoalin Temple. Shaolin temple is the home of Kung Fu, which means skill from effort. Body Dang/Bah-di Dang is the founder of Kung Fu. As founder of kung fu, Chinese of nowadays celebrates his death anniversary through presenting a musical presentation presented by the Chinese Orchestra. In this temple, boys are being trained in kung fu. Not just because they want to be a star like Jackie Chan, but wants also to be a master in this tradition of theirs. This boys are being disciplined in strength, mind, body and soul.

The Forbidden City. Forbidden City was discovered in the year 1406. Forbidden city is a home of large palaces. It has 10,000 rooms around it. The most beautiful part in Forbidden city is the “Palace of Heavenly Fury”. In this city it is not just the palace that entertains people, but there is this one place that people get really entertained with, the “Imperial Garden”. This place brings fun to tourists and even Chinese people. This place is considered as the party central of Forbidden city. The Imperial Garden is filled with unique statues, pleasant flowers that could satisfy your day with it’s lovely fragrance.

Shinyan city. A city were you could find one of the most amazing art of China. Which is the clay model Terracota Warriors. This is one of the archeological fines in the 20th century. This Terracota Warriors has a history. This was found by a peasant in the year 1974. This clay warriors carried real weapons and the horses pulled actual chariots. What is amazing about this terracota warriors is that no two of the 6,000 soldiers looked alike. It was said that the emperor ordered the artist to models and copy the face of each warrior, servant, and footman in his honor so that they could continue to guard him after death.

The Red China Hotel Club was the first hotel made in china. It is located in Beijing, China. This hotel is already 200 years old. People still stays and visits this hotel it’s because of it’s delicacy of food. Food that has been served in this hotel are same like the food that has been served to the emperors before. This hotel is a place of history.

In Beijing, China there are places that are full of wonders whom tourists and people enjoy. Like the “Summer Palace”. It was discovered in the year 1750. people go to this palace for parties. This palace is one of the tourists delight, because of it’s 14,000 hand-made paintings on the wall.
Not only this palace is amazing in Beijing but also it’s acrobatic people.
Acrobatics in Beijing began 3,000 years ago. People who join this kind of art starts young. Chinese acrobatic people are so amazing for their flexibility, balance, strength and concentration.
They perform in Shalyang theater for tourists and even people from the country.

South Beijing, China. Has a market place that is very popular. One of it’s popularity is the cricket fight. This cricket fight is the favorite game of the emperors 14,000 years ago.
A good cricket would cost $2.00 each. In every game and place there is a master. And the master of this market is Mr. Zhang Banguang. He explained how to play the game and how he became very good on playing with crickets. He also mentioned that crickets live for only 100 days.


This are the great wonders of China. China is very beautiful place that one day I would go to and visit. To explore and experience the beauty of a place that has many history and traditions that would make me cherish it.
